After spending over 12 years working with some of the top multi-national marketing firms in Canada, including Kraft Canada, Effem Foods and HERSHEY, Brenda Wood pursued her entrepreneurial dream of owning her own business. In September 2001, Brenda opened EKG Marketing Inc., a strategic marketing and media agency. Within one year, she had helped her clients reposition and launch branded programs that delivered unprecedented sales and profit gains. By May 2008 she launched HEART Business Journal For Women®, an unprecedented business publication targeting women, which provides interactive journal exercises to compliment inspirational profiles and mentorship articles. HEART Business Journal For Women e-publication will be available in June 2009, with global readership.
