Have you ever felt stressed out, depressed, or dealt with anxiety?
Do you have trouble sleeping or suffer from feelings of despair or hopelessness?
Many people who experience these feelings suffer in silence. Oftentimes, they feel alone and believe no one can help them. Unfortunately, this problem is quite widespread: It is estimated that 1 in 13 people suffer from anxiety worldwide.
Why are so many of us feeling this way?
On this special episode of Making a Difference, we go half way across the world and chat with our special guest and Life Coach extraordinaire, Gunita Collins.
Gunita was born in the Caribbean twin island Trinidad and Tobago and now resides in Huddersfield, United Kingdom. In addition to being a life coach, she is also trained as a Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Coach and Chakra Balancing Practioner.
Gunita believes no matter who you are, you were born for greatness. We are all magnificent beings, and yet somewhere along the way, we become lost to who we really are. Feelings of "not being good enough" are ever present in our daily lives.
Gunita stresses to her clients that healing begins from within, not without. Learning to love yourself is a very important place to start because when you love yourself fully, this has a positive effect on every area of your life.
Gunita's patterns her life after a quote from Nelson Mandela: “There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.”
Even though Gunita is half a world away, many of us can relate to her teachings. Join our live conversation as she explains the importance of having inner peace, a love of oneself, feelings of wellbeing and a deep knowing of your true magnificence!
