About Marc S. Micozzi Marc S. Micozzi, MD, PhD, a national leader in the field of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), is adjunct professor of physiology and biophysics at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He was the founding editor-in-chief of the first U.S. journal on the subject of CAM (in 1994), and he organized and edited the first U.S. textbook, Fundamentals of Complementary & Alternative Medicine.
