Join us for a live interview with Rich Ferraro, Vice President of Communications for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).

For over 25 years, GLAAD has worked with news, entertainment and social media to bring culture-changing stories of LGBTQ people into millions of homes and workplaces every day. It watches the media to ensure that their coverage of LGBTQ issues and people is fair and accurate and is an advocate for social justice that unites the
movement for equality. GLAAD works to increase the visibility of the LGBTQ community and to change hearts and minds.

In addition to being GLAAD's primary blogger, Rich has spoken at the two GLAAD Media Awards held so far this year. He also will speak at the upcoming ceremony on May 11th in San Francisco, at which Adam Lambert will be presented with the Davidson/Valentini Award.

Among the topics we'll be discussing are GLAAD's history and mission, its past and future work on issues particularly important to the LGBTQ community and the awards being presented to Adam Lambert and Bill Clinton this year.
