In recent years, we have heard much about the differences in how women and men communicate and women have been encouraged to communicate more like men.  As a woman who has been in senior management in one of the world's largest media groups, as well as having been an entrepreneur, I have learned it is not necessary to communicate using the words and styles of our male counterparts.  All of us, men and women alike, simply need to use a direct form of communication and be very clear about what we are saying.  We must stand up for our beliefs and speak out...with tact and finess.
