This Thing Has Spygate Written All Over It

The Trump January 6th case has Spygate written all over it.

Judge Beryl Howell affirmed Robert Mueller's Appointment. The same Beryl Howell that shattered Trump's Attorney/Client Privilege for Jack Smith.  She Reauthorized FISA when it came using data from a study she cowrote and was obtained by Patrick Leahy for use in reauthorizing FISA. She also worked for the firm that identified suspicious queries to Alfa Bank servers in 2017.

James Boasberg, who subbed in after Howell's sudden retirement, was on the FISA court that approved the FISA wiretaps on Carter Page. He walked back two of them in 2020, but hired Mary McChord, who brought the FISA arrants to begin with, as Amici Curiae in 2021. He also gave Kevin Clinesmith 12 months probation, akin to a slap on the wrist, for criminal falsification of evidence.

Tanya Chutkin, who presided over the Fusion GPS v. Alfa Bank debacle, was the one who granted the order blocking Devin Nunes' oversight committee from obtaining GPS' records. She was removed from the Fusion GPS case the following month.
