Diana Dentinger, author of Modus Vivendi: Your Life Your Way interviews Fauna Hodel.

Fauna Hodel was born in San Francisco in 1951 to the Caucasian daughter of Dr. George Hodel, a prominent and wealthy California doctor who was implicated in the Black Dahlia Murder.  Fauna was given up at birth under mysterious circumstances to a Black maid and Black shoeshine man at the Riverside Casino in Reno, Nevada.

Fauna is the Executive Producer and Creative Consultant for the motion picture, “Pretty Hattie’s Baby”, based on her life story, and the author of “One Day She’ll Darken”, her autobiography about the first 25 years of her life.

Fauna has been involved with philanthropy through her work at Celebrity Society magazine, and co-producing various celebrity events and galas.

She executive produced her own radio show titled “Fauna’s Charity Sizzle Report” on The Amazing Women of Power Talk Radio, and co-hosted “Dare to Dream” with Dr. Anne Marie Evers, the doctor of affirmations.
