Welcome to our usual Wednesday discussion on healthcare.

As enrollment for Obamacare begins November 1st, many of you might see some high increases in your healthcare costs.

Tonight our guest will tell you how you can – not only reduce those costs – but have a concierge doctor along with it.  Yes, a concierge doc for less than what you are paying now.

Tom Blue is the chief Strategy Officer for the American Academy of Private Physicians which is working with a new program called Liberty Direct – which offers the concierge-type service.

Liberty Health Share is medical cost sharing which is not insurance but is allowable under the Affordable Act.

Tom, let’s talk about what concierge medicine has been in the past.

How does it work with Liberty Direct?

Let’s look at the numbers for someone like me.  And what it will cost.

So with Liberty Health Share you are a self-pay patient.  You mentioned to me that people with high cost of health insurance are already self-pay patients.

We are talking with Tom Blue -- the chief Strategy Officer for the American Academy of Private Physicians which is working with a new program called Liberty Direct – offers a concierge-type service.  For more information go to www.LibertyDirect.org

Can my doctor sign up as a Liberty Direct doctor – or do I have to find someone registered with Liberty Direct?

What about catastrophic care?

So, Tom, explain how this kind of service – at a lower cost -- actually can be healthier.

Give me an example of someone who was either misdiagnosed because they didn’t have a primary care doctor.
