“... The other reason for the burn was of course metaphysical. When we struggle with an issue we first attempt to resolve it mentally than emotionally (sometimes in the reverse order depending on how we are wired). When we fail to solve it at either of these levels it will often become a physical issue. Because there are no accidents I had to wonder what inside of me drew this uncomfortable lesson to my physical body? It was clear that I was resisting trusting my feminine side and my ability to receive. I kept thinking I should take practical, forward steps to solve the issue. When we have problems on the left side of the body in any form they have to do with the past, the feminine, and receptivity. When we have problems on the right side of our body they have to do with the masculine, assertiveness and the future.
