Andy Neusner is the Senior Web Content Manager for The Jewish Federations of North America, which represents 157 Jewish Federations & over 300 independent Jewish communities. The Federation movement, collectively among the top 10 charities on the continent, protects and enhances the well-being of Jews worldwide through the values of tikkun olam (repairing the world), tzedakah (charity and social justice) and Torah (Jewish learning). Andy has a deep background in editorial work both online and off, having worked as an editor of technology books at Henry Holt back when people read books, a dotcom content producer covering the marketing field, and the director of digital media at the JTA news service. At JFNA, he has managed the Jewish Community Heroes campaign since its inception, trains Federations in text-messaging and social media work, and creates content for the Websites of JFNA as well as local Federations, from holiday material to crisis campaigns. He manages two twitter feeds that were named to the most recent JTA top 100 Jews on Twitter list -- @jewishevents and @jfederations. Follow him on both; it will make his day!
