NFL Week 1 brought Jets fans to the edge of their seats and the top of their lungs as rookie Geno Smith started in his first official regular season game and did just enough to lead his New York Jets to a 18-17 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at MetLife Stadium.
We will feature the sounds of the game, and hear from head coach Rex Ryan, Geno Smith and others about how the Jets were able to limit the Bucs' Doug Martin to only 65 yards on 24 carries, plus overcome the Jets' own issues on offense which included a spotty effort from Smith, and only 29 yards from starting RB Bilal Powell. The New York defense led the way, sacking Josh Freeman 3 times, and pressuring him throughout the day.
