HOW TO PRESERVE LOVE IN FAMILIES FOREVER - an opportunity to explore a new paradigm in love and human relationships -- based on the information presented in the Ringing Cedars series of books known as the "Anastasia books." This will be a panel discussion made up of people who are ready to break free of cultural norms that have negatively influenced the well-being of families and the capacity of humanity to experience authentic LOVE. Todays panelists will be: Shylah Ray Sunshine-musician, spiritual midwife, birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, activist, lactivist and intactivist! Shylah believes in the power of natural fertility, concsious conception, natural childbirth/waterbirth/unassisted birth, lotus birth, breast feeding, baby-wearing, "the family bed", placenta and herbal medicine, whole/live foods, diaper-free, natural immunity ( no vaccines) and home/unschooling. She specializes in spiritual midwifery. Mackenzie Christy - lives in a high mountain town of Salida, Colorado were she is a founding member of a non-profit women's center in the process of development. Wisdom Within focused on holistic approaches to reproductive health throughout the childbearing years. She is formally trained in postpartum and labor support through ALACE, and has three years of pre and perinatle psychotherapy studies under the tutalage of Karlton Terry in birth regression and repatterning birth trauma. MacKenzie also assists the elderly with passing when she is not attending mothers in birth. She is mother to one 9 year old homebirthed daughter.
