Foreign Policy and the Presidential Election - Is it an important consideration?

 Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Israel, are all crucial nations for the stability of the Mid-East.  But there is ISIS.  The candidates for our next President have expressed their viewpoints on these countries and about the terrorist organization ISIS.  What are the fundamentals of their foreign policy?  What do they say they would do about ISIS and the crisis in Middle East?  Are their opinions and policy statements important?  Are they realistic?  Will the implementation of their policies lead to World War 3 or to a lasting peace in the world?

Dr. Frederick Schoenfeld looks at these questions, asking if they are realistic from both an domestic political and geo-political standpoint.  Could the policies as expressed by the candidates be implemented by the Executive or must there by cooperation from the House and Senate?  What about our allies?  The United Nations?  Russia?  China?
