Starting in 2007, Sacramento writer Ted Cox went undercover in gay-to-straight therapy programs. He attended weekly support meetings, conferences and a 48-hour "healing touch" camp in Arizona. He is currently writing a book and he has shared his experiences with audiences at Stanford, UC Berkeley and UC Davis. Cox is a godless beer-lover who covers religion, the environment and furries.
