ITR talks to Ben Throckmorton of classicwrestlingvideos.com

Owner of Throckmorton and Company and Classic Wrestling Videos,  and former wrestling promoter, Ben Throckmorton talks about beginning North American Championship Wrestling (NACW) in early 2000 out of Shallotte, NC, operating the promotion, and it's end in the end of 2004. He will also share some thoughts on the current state of pro wrestling, steps he is taking to re-launch his own promotion, and what he will do to set the new company apart when he successfully starts it.

A little background: NACW entertained wrestling fans regularly in the western part of NC and SC, towns that included Morganton, Lenoir, Newton, Gaffney, Laurens, Walhalla, and their home base of Shallotte, NC. NACW could be seen regularly on WHKY TV 14 out of Hickory, NC, WSFX TV out of Shallotte, NC and grew in 13 states on Comcast Sports Southeast, that included a 2 hour live event named "Retribution" on CSS out of Morristown, TN. The live broadcast peaked a 1.4 in the ratings in several major markets including Atlanta and Nashville, securing it's place as a growing National  promotion that had sprung up from a oncesmall,  local independent organization.
