From a spiritual perspective, the ego is that aspect of the self that considers its distinction from others through identification(s). In short, the ego is our sense of ‘I’ and ‘Me’ that tends to approach life through our thinking. Spirituality, our true state of existence is discovered through identification with the Soul. From the soul’s perspective, we can choose to live our day to day life with the consciousness of observation or true witness. Psychologically, we define ego as pride about oneself. Thoughts such as my intellect, my life, my wealth, my wife and children, all need to be a specific way to acquire happiness. Where the soul reveals how life truly is, the ego tells us how life ‘should’ or could be.

Tune in to this epsisode as Irma Francis and Ernie Vecchio discuss life from the eo's perspective and life from the soul's perspective and why making a shift from ego persprtive to soul perspective is life changing.
