From pregnancy to nursing and beyond, you have probably heard many opinions on how to feed you and your child. Join holistic health expert Cari Schaefer as she shares what mainstream medicine is not telling you about how to boost brain health for you and your child. Learn to protect your family's health by getting the proper nutrients and fats (yes, fats) and how to choose healthy products and a healthy environment... even in our busy modern lives.

Cari Schaefer, M.A. TCM, L.Ac. Holds a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a nationally certified herbalist. She is the founder of the Sustainable Health Center, and has been in private practice focusing her work on improving the health of women and children for over thirteen years. She is currently working on a book demonstrating how what we eat can make the difference between a vibrant life and one with dis-ease.

At the age of 32, Cari experienced a health crisis that lasted 7 years. At it’s worst, walking three blocks was a challenge. It was her search for answers that lead her to Designed Clinical Nutrition. Designed Clinical Nutrition changed her life. It gave her her health and her life back. She now uses it to change the lives of others. Through her clinical and personal experience Cari has seen that nothing impacts our health more than the simple choices we make everyday. These choices lead us to a life of happiness and health or to symptoms and disease. She now shares what she has learned with others through one on one clinic care, public speaking, and by teaching and mentoring to other healthcare practitioners.
