Bio: Malcolm J. Harris is the Founder and Director of Business Development for The Hurston Group LLC. In this role, he oversees the development and implementation of sales and market penetration strategies for start-up and emerging companies in the real estate industry, including, but not limited to: energy-related products and services, and "green" facilities management. Through The Hurston Group, Malcolm serves several firms that focus on helping facilities owners in PA, NJ, NY, DE, DC, MD, and VA reduce energy and maintenance costs, and provides preventative maintenance solutions. Prior to this role, while completing his bachelor's degree at Drexel University, Malcolm served as managing partner in ventures with CareerBuilder and BET (Black Entertainment Television). Malcolm is a member of Independence Business Alliance, serves on the Outreach and Grant-making Committee for Delaware Valley Legacy Fund, and also serves on the marketing committee for Philadelphia Gay Black Pride.
