As we continue to see many lives impacted by the HIV/AIDS epidemdic, there is a need to start discussing those contextual factors that contribute to the epidemic. We see many of our Black brothers and sisters along with other communities of color heavily affected and now it is time for us to speak out and share our stories. Because of the need to discuss the contextual factors, Truth Talk featuring Intimacy & Colour is honored to have a few spoken word poets, Sharonda Everett, Antron-Reshaud Olukayode, and Louis Ortiz, who will share their stories around the pathologies of oppression we see in communities of color, especially within the Black community.

So join us on December 1, 2013, at 1pm EST for Speaking Our Truth! Addressing HIV/AIDS Contextual Factors. To call in and chat with your co-hosts and special guests, please call (646) 915-9198.
