12 year old Jalen Kennedy has created a national stir with his award winning school project on the school-to-prison pipeline.  In the spirit of the work of Michelle Alexander's The New Jim Crow:  Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness, Jalen poses the question, is the application of school discipline the new Jim Crow for students?
