Being a school leader can be one of the most challenging roles in education.  Keeping up with new laws, policies and regulations are but one component of their responsiblities.  As schools are asked to do more in our schools, do our principals have all they need to be successful?

Dr. Cheri Magill, Virginia Commonwealth University Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership,  will discuss some ot the current needs in educational leadership and some areas of focus to grow strong leaders in our schools.  Dr. Magill has spent the majority of her career developing and directing leadership programs in roles ranging from principal to a director with the Virginia Department of Education.
