The  2016 Presidential election brought forth hostility and resentment that is being exercised in classrooms and hallways in school across the country.  We will examine the patterns of incidents involving students, teachers and administrators in response to rising hate speech and attacks in our schools.

How should schools respond to the pattern of harassment and hate filled behavior growing on our school campuses?  Is policy the answer or have schools neglected to address the underlying problems that permeate our schools today?  What are some actions they can and should take to calm the climates in our schools?
