Much has been written - and much of it negative - in spiritual and religious circles about human sexuality. Just about every imaginable perspective from complete celibacy as the only path to spiritual awakening so the fiction of so-called "crazy wisdom" that is taken to mean that anything goes is out there - but there is very little between those two extremes. Are we to believe that human sexuality is an all or nothing proposition when it comes to spirituality and religion? Can we come to see our bodies and our selves as inherently sexual, whether or not we engage in sexual contact? Can our spirituality help us to construct an appropriate sexual ethic for ourselves - one that may or not be appropriate to my next door neighbor? Finally, what are we to do when a member of the clergy or a spiritual teacher engages in sexual contact with a member of their church or other community? Join us for a candid conversation on Interspiritual Insights!
