Join us as we interview director, screenwriter, producer Miki Blak. We'll discuss her career in film, what inspires her, why she pursued movie making, her newest release Apocalypse Couple and the Each 1, Give 1 Million$Challenge. 

Miki Blak Bio

Passionate, Professional and Promising describe the unique and charismatic woman known as Miki Blak. Her audiences have been entertained by her unique and creative view point. “If Joy Comes”, was the filmmaker’s debut short film, with a remarkable premiere at the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival. She followed this film with the suspense filled drama, “G.I.F.T.S”.    Miki began her career as a radio personality and then moved on to broadcast television as a camera operator, audio technician and topical writer.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, storytelling was always prominent in Miki's life. She published her first book while in first grade and began writing poetry and plays
during her teen years. Miki graduated from the University of Akron, with a B.A in Mass Media Communications and a Minor in Theatre.
The Apocalypse Couple marks her third film and is now on the film festival circuit. The film has premiered at the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival in Cleveland, Oh. It has also screened at the Ocktober Film Festival in New York, NY.
The Producer, Writer and Director is currently in development on her first feature film. When not working, Miki enjoys movies, video games, biking, swimming and literature. www.mikiblak.com www.blog.mikiblak.com
