They are "licensed" breeders that are inspected by the GEORGIA DEPT OF AGRICULTURE. The GDOA, failed these animals. They failed these animals in Lamar, Montgomery, Candler & Berrien County. I have worked 24/7 since I had my own boots on the ground, 1/6/2019 and saw how a "licensed breeder" took care of her german shepherds. I saw with my own eyes, dogs living in open pens, no roof over their heads to protect them from the elements. 2 igloos to 8 dogs. Sleeping on a bed of mud, feces and urine combined. I have not stopped fighting to seek justice for these german shepherds, along with those that lived in Candler County, Ga. I personally interviewed these wonderful, caring animal lovers that heard the screams of the dogs fighting. They reached out to everyone and no one reached back. What a sad state of affairs, when those that are suppose to protect the animals, simply do not care. Please join us on May 22nd @ 6:30pm, EST. Listen to those that experienced first hand the screams of dogs killing one another, attacking the weakest one in the pack to satisfy their hunger pains. Check out the news clip where the breeder, Angela Belinda Powell states these are her babies and this is their sanctuary. Click here. https://www.facebook.com/InspectorBark/?
New laws need to be in place. Stricter regulations need to be implented. How can one breeder provide and care for over 400 animals? A limit needs to be imposed. More inspectors need to be hired within the State of Georgia of which more funding will be necessary. Animal welfare advocates want to see change. Due to public outcry & outrage, one inspector, Ben Thornhill with the GDOA was terminated. Is this enough to satisfy the public?
