What is the value of living mindully? How does one accomplish being mindful? Are you truly aware that it is up to us to direct our minds and not have our minds direct us. It is a Zen and Tibetan tradition to know what the mind is doing in all moments of our lives. Our minds are the very thing that creates our very experiences. This is why it is said that we attract to us what we are not what we want. This occurs because we do not consciouslyoperate our minds or thoughts. More times than not we let our minds tell us what to do instead of us telling our minds. Buddha stated that it is ok to think but do not identify with what you are thinking. By so doing one indeed does become mindful. We all are our own writers and producers of our lives yet we do not necessarrily own what we write. We write our own script with our minds. Being mindful is knowing what you are thinking. It is not written any where that we have to think negatively. Life is simply an expereince that we bring to ourselves constatnly.
