Indie Film Producer and Consultant Stu Pollard on "Inside Urban Hollywood," Monday, March 2, 6pm PST

Independent film producer and consultant Stu Pollard will discuss to discuss the business of being an independent producing from business plans and financing to casting and packaging deals on the Monday, March 2nd edition of "Inside Urban Hollywood" on BlogTalkRadio with host, Tanya Kersey. The show airs at 6pm PST/9pm EST. Stu Pollard freelances as a consultant and producer specializing in private equity financing, investor relations, and distributor delivery. His business plans have raised more than $6 million in production funds. A native of Louisville, he has been making films for more than a decade, emerging as a highly sought after collaborator in the independent film community. His recent producing credits include TRUE ADOLESCENTS, DIRTY COUNTRY, and IRA & ABBY. Pollard has also directed two feature films, NICE GUYS SLEEP ALONE and KEEP YOUR DISTANCE. NICE GUYS was the first title acquired by Netflix’s Red Envelope Entertainment division and was also picked up by HBO. KEEP YOUR DISTANCE was released on DVD by Monarch Home Video and aired on the Showtime family of networks. He currently has three projects in development. Pollard is also a partner in the Your Half Film Fund, joining producers Eric Arlt and Ryan Harper (2006 Sundance selection STEEL CITY) in a development and production entity that will specialize in creating films with budgets in the $2.5 million range.
