Josh founded JMA Investigative Services and was mentored by his father, Mike Askew, A former Scotland Yard Detective, and founder of MEA Investigative Services. MEA is now based in Texas with offices as far away as London.

Josh began in 1998 fighting insurance fraud and saving tax payers’ money by catching those trying to beat the system with false claims. Currently, in 2015, Josh still conducts surveillance, mostly on high profile cases, to catch those making false claims, cheating on their spouses, using and abusing drugs, gambling and spending marital funds and hiding many addictions from their family members.

Josh has been requested numerous times to testify under oath and has done so successfully for his clients.
