Shattered Lives: Experiences in Elder Care with Jean Caron of AARPCT

Jean Horn Caron has been volunteering for AARPCT for 6 years. She was a participant in AARP’s second VLI program and is currently a member of AARPCT’s Executive Council. Her AARP focus has been advocacy, particularly as it relates to caregiving and financial security.

Jean had a 35-year career in financial services and the management of two nonprofit organizations.  Jean spent the majority of her working career at major financial organizations providing estate and charitable planning for Private Banking Clients. Jean has had a long history of volunteering in the non-profit arena and has successfully been the impetus behind the creation of 4 separate Women & Girls Funds throughout the state of CT where she was instrumental in raising millions of dollars.
