DESCRIPTION

The Clifton Arts Council is proud to announce the first annual Clifton Film Celebration - an independent film festival in historic Clifton, Virginia.

Come enjoy the wonder of the moving picture! Selections include laughs, scares, twists, and turns! For over a century humans have been fascinated with the marvel of the cinema - come celebrate the work of some of independent film's most exciting and groundbreaking filmmakers in a beautiful small-town setting!

We recieved submissions from around the region and around the world - from as nearby as Fairfax and Rockville and as far away as Europe and Australia!

The festival will take place November 10th, 11th, and 12th at The Clifton Town Hall and will include an opening night mixer with a special screening of the 1932 classic "A Farewell To Arms" starring Helen Hayes (former Clifton resident!) and Gary Cooper plus three days of screenings and an awards banquet.
