All that I know now are his gifts, his presence to me.

My 23 year old son Demetrius decided on a dark night in 1996, that this is not his planet, he would rather be an Angel. And I, along with my 4 children were launched into the most Epic journey I could never have imagined.

I quickly realized that Thich Nhat Hanh in his wisdom was correct…it’s what we DO with it that determines our potential for Joy! I will share with you how we leaned into our grief process and each wave as it crashed over us, compelled us to become stronger, more intentional and engaged in Life.
