JON WELLNER

American actor Jon Wellner was born on July 11, 1975 in Evanston, Illinois. He began his career on the small screen, getting bit parts on shows like Becker and Gilmore Girls. During the year 2001, he was seen on the show Thieves and played Gilligan on the TV movie Surviving Gilligan's Island: The Incredibly True Story of the Longest Three Hour Tour in History.

Other appearances of his include those in The King of Queens and several short films, like Walkin' Free and Brown Eyed Girl. He was next seen on Judging Amy as Alan Schein, before he got the role of Simon Frankel on Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service in 2005.
