Jahril is a self-taught photographer/visual artist, a sophomore at Howard University studying Film & Political Science, a film intern working with the world-renown Filmmaker Haile Gerima, an entreprenuer, and has a future goal of living and working in Africa. He has travelled to Ghana twice with H.A.B.E.S.H.A. (Helping Africa By Establishing Schools At Home & Abroad) and it had a HUGE impact on his life as a teenager. He has recently returned from his 14 day visit to Ethiopia to document Ethiopia through the eyes of a Rastafari Youth.  Jahril will be sharing how the trip has impacted him, his perspective on the exhibit, the Ethiopian culture, Shashamane and more coming from a 19 year old youth born and raised in the Rastafari livity.
