Humanity? The Fallen?

Humanity? The fallen? We spend way too much time trying to be human, or using the phrase, “I’m only human” as an excuse for our short comings. Almost every person has the mindset embedded in them that we are humans and aren’t perfect. What does it mean to be human? The humans of this planet are indeed self serving and deceptive, so why would I want to classify myself as something so negative and uninspiring. As humans, we are expected to be at fault or sin at one point or another in our lives, and religious people call it human nature. Why is it our nature to do the wrong thing? Maybe that isn’t our nature, however we have been conditioned to think so, therefore we act accordingly. Maybe our nature is to do the right thing and live in harmony as a species, yet we have been manipulated by the forces of the universe that want to do evil. In order to conceal and justify their actions they have created a world based on religion where the masses can focus their energy on this one God who is perfect and we as humans are imperfect. Maybe we are perfect? But we believe that we are not, therefore our reality reflects our thought about ourselves and the world around us. What is perfect or perfection? What is sin? Based on Christianity, sin is anything that separates you from God, but who is God or what is god? Join us at Infinite Waters as we dive in deeply!!!!
