Was Slavery in Africa Romanticized? What Really Happened in Africa and Abroad?

Many African historians look at slavery as white people stole us by themselves and sold us throuhout the but this may not be the case.  How did the caucausion who wasn't fmiliar with the land able to take millions of people around the globe for purchase.  Didn't Africans fight back?  We will look at different scenerios using logic and history to guide us.
