Kyle Tekiela masterfully unwinds an amazing story of a family's dark secrets in "A Sister's Call." Initially, the audience thinks the film is focused only on Call, the paranoid schizophrenic brother who has been reunited with the family after 20 years of despondency, wandering in and out of sanity, and homelessness. But the story twists and turns revealing one hidden secret after another in a way that entices and leaves you deep in thought long after the final credits. The message is one of family unity through struggle and optimism after challenges and tragedy.

We will discuss Kyle's journey through meeting with this family, crafting together the story and a bit about his background as a filmmaker as well.
