Mount Rainier: a mountain - no, a volcano - so big that it deserves a whole month of its own. In the first of our two-part series on Mt. Rainier, we'll begin the conversation about this 14,411 ft. peak in the Cascade Range. We'll cover what is widely considered to be the standard route on the mountain (Camp Muir / Disappointment Cleaver) and bring on a guest who climbed this peak for charity with an all-female group. That, and the usual In Ice Axe We Trust antics, will fill up the hour and leave us all waiting impatiently for the encore.
