Fila Antwine is the founder
of  (S.H.E); an empowerment and esteem building practice targeting women and
girls. In addition she is a dynamic speaker, facilitator and author of soon to be released; children's and
adult books.
Born to teenage parents, and raised during the drug ridden era of the 1980's in NYC; she knows first hand
the life long trauma and effects, such dysfunction can cause. Despite that, she is a conqueror. Fila, rejected
the turmoil, drama and trauma of her upbringing and built an unshakeable foundation for herself and her
family. She uses her personal experiences and the transformative power of ‘loving honesty’, to encourage
her audience to accept, acknowledge and overcome what holds them back.
Currently, she is working with community partners to implement a series of programs aimed at reducing
bullying and building self esteem; in NYC public schools. In addition, Fila is proposing similar workshop
programs in domestic abuse shelters in her community of Queens, NY. She is also an ambassador for
Lucinda Cross's 2013 Activate Conference. As an Activate ambassador, she is working tirelessly to support
Lucinda Cross and her campaign to activate women all over the globe. She has inspired many women to
push their passions into purpose and she continues to blaze the trail.
Most importantly, Fila is a devoted wife and mother. Her life is a testament that you are not the sum of
what has happened to you but instead, you are who you choose to become, in spite of it all.
Her message is one of truth, encouragement, inspiration and empowerment.
