Get ready - this may be a LIVELY show!  We are getting full-tilt boogie into the holiday season with a show that kicks off DECEMBER!  It starts at TWO p.m. Eastern - so that we can have plenty of time in case more "guests" can join us :)

Christian de Mesones (aka "Big New York") is the Ring Leader of an event coming up SOON that merits attention.  It's a Smooth and Funky Christmas Celebration - at Bethesda Blues and Jazz - in the shadow of Washington, D.C.  Starring in this artistic endeavor: Eddie Baccus, Jr. - Elliot Levine - Keith Anderson - Rob Maletick - Willie Bradley - and (confirmed for "Hybrid Jazz" on 12/1): Drew Davidsen!

Drew has been a contemporary Jazz favorite for a while now - an ace guitarist with awesome songs that have landed him on the charts.  He'll be swinging by after Christian's short but significant visit.  Now, if you don't know a lot about BNY, you need to understand that he has been playing bass for over thirty years.  He graduated at the age of 18 from the Bass Institute of Technology in Hollywood, California - where he studied with greats like Abe Laboriel, Steve Morse and Ray Brown.  Christian has been involved in multiple genres for so many years that folks know him in ALL areas of the country. He was in a Hard Rock cover band in Hawaii; a crowd-pleaser in his stomping grounds of New York City with his own Metal group, "Twice Shy."  He became immersed in Hip Hop, Urban, Latin Jazz and Gospel when he moved to Virginia.  One of the ensembles in his adopted state was SO popular that folks still buzz about "Big Patt & Legion."

Bassist, composer, teacher, clinician, and mentor - this beautiful bear of a man put together some AWESOME talent for this upcoming show.  And we'll play a track from EACH artist!  Join us on 12/1: at two p.m. Eastern!
