Pete Rose is perhaps the most polarizing figure in sports history. Baseball's all-time hits king is banned from baseball, the sport he still loves. Now, Pete is oddly wrapped up with performance enhancing drug users, despite never having that particular cloud over his own career.

John Phillips of Pittsburgh's 93.7 The Fan was able to interview Pete and has experienced a viraling effect since it hit the air waves. Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti spoke to Mr. Phillips about what Pete had to say, including some controversial comments about why he's suspended, Pete's recent relationship with Alex Rodriguez, his opinions on the steroid era overall and how those players would be better served in dealing with the public, and if Pete will ever be enshrined in Cooperstown, New York, at the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show sends many thanks to John Phillips for his appearance and commands anyone who hasn't heard it yet to give their ears a massaging and listen to his one on one with Charlie Hustle, AKA, Pete Rose.

Just like Pete Rose conquered his baseball career on the field and John Phillips conquers 93.7 in Pittsburgh, Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti conquers sports radio, one day, at a time....
