Join The Hotwordz Crewsaderz as we welcome NuKola, an Atlanta based Photographer and Poet to the Hotwordz Mic. We at Hotwordz have been enjoying such tracks as "Home Around the Corner" and "Just Love" from this artist. Her talents also way in on the radio mic as well. She got her feet wet as a radio personality on New Style Radio 98.7 fm in England producing "A Novel Night with NuKola" and "Planet Rock". She has graced the stage at The National Theater in London and The Birmingham Hippodrome in Birmingham, England. This Poet can now be found on WRFG 89.3 here in Atlanta but tonight, "It's a WEDNESDAY Thing" with NuKola on HLT bringing the Heat. The show tonight is The HOT double-up with Tanesha Douglas who at the age of 15 landed a recording deal with Animocity Records; however, after exploring the industry, she realized that being a rapper was not her cup of tea. Lucky for listeners, her work didn't stop in the land of rappers delight. After completing school at the University of Georgia in Athens, her lyrics were much welcomed and gains a substantial following as she continued to take over the mic. Tanesha turned her talents and life experiences to the artistry of writing. In the first half of the chapbook Douglas shows her roots as a writer dedicated to the page as a beginning poet with poems like "One Who Is Me" and "Spiritual Renewal." The second half of Old vs. New shows the evolution of her skill most notably in her ability to tell the stories of others. She tells her story this week with The Hotwordz Crewsaderz and...YEP!...Tanesha Douglas is HOT!
