When Lightening Strikes Twice, A journey to Motherhood

At the tender age of 18 Magen found herself pregnant, yet instead of being fearful she faced the pregnancy head on with excitement and anticipation. With her high School sweetheart by her side they awaited the birth of their son, however, tragedy strikes. Magen gave birth to her precious baby boy Jayden; only to find out he was still born. The news rocks her to the very core, somehow she manages to pick herself up and continue on. In the years to come Magen would marry her sweetheart and conceive another bundle of joy, with every expectation this one would not, and could not possibly end in the same tragic way her first birth did.

They both awaited the birth of their son, both feeling in their hearts that this was going to be it, soon they would hold their sweet little baby and become the parents they so longed to be, however, Magen finds out just four days before her due date that her baby boy’s heart beat had stopped. Their precious little Tucker would not be here in the flesh, she gives birth to yet another angel baby.

Now feeling more lost than ever before, Magen tries to cling to God to get her through the pain, but instead threw herself into earthly pleasures to try and drown out the devastation that pulsed through her veins. With her life spiraling out of control, her marriage falling apart and her faith rocked Megan somehow comes out stronger and more in love with God than ever before. Learning that although lightening can strike twice, God’s love will never fail you.
