Mandy Eppley and Elizabeth Berrien, two of the co-founders of The Respite, A Centre for Grief & Hope, will be unveiling an exciting new online program called Heart Centered Healing. Inspired and created by Elizabeth, this program is yet another extension of her service to those who are hurting and in need of hope and empowerment. Elizabeth is a living example of how The Model of Heart-Centered Grief can have a huge impact on your life.

Elizabeth is a coach, author, support group facilitator, speaker, spiritual entrepreneur, and proud mom. After the unexpected losses of her husband and son by the age of 27, she has passionately dedicated her life to helping others experience healing, joy, and purpose after loss. She established the unique support community, Soul Widows, in 2010, a supportive space for young widows to become empowered on their journey from grief to hope. Elizabeth’s background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Dance. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2004 and attended graduate school at the University of Missouri at St. Louis for Community Counseling in 2008. In 2013, Elizabeth became a Certified Creative Grief Coach. She has also completed Spirit Junkie Master Class Teacher Training Levels 1 and 2 with New York Times bestselling author Gabrielle Bernstein. She believes in the transformative power of the human journey and our sacred stories. Through sharing her own story, she hopes to light the way for others seeking a healthy, heart-centered, and fulfilling life.
