All Saints' Day, also known as All Hallows Day, is November 1. Halloween, a contraction of All Hallows' Eve, is a holiday observed on October 31, the evening before All Saints' Day. The Celts believed the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred. On the night of October 31, they celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth.

I Thessalonians 5:21-22 says, "Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil." As believers, we must be careful that we don't mistake evil for good. As followers of Jesus Christ, we must be careful about what we align with -- even in traditional celebrations and fun!

Join us Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 3:30 PM, PDT, as we learn about All Saints' Day, an alternative to Halloween from a biblical perspective. Call in to speak with the host (646) 668-2946.
