National speaker and author of Finding Hope for Your Journey through Breast Cancer, Yvonne Ortega will interview Barbara MacLean. Barbara's true passion is the love of art, music, poetry, God and giving back to her community where she finds her inspiration. Her poetry has been featured in several books. One of her poems is the foundation for the signature song, Face in the Mirror, now licensed and trademarked in Nashville, TN and given as a CD to each cancer patient visited in the hospitals. Barbara carries out the promise she made to her sister several years ago. She works full-time as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Face in the Mirror. She focuses on ways to expand the organization's services and provide outreach to cancer patients in medical centers across the USA. In 2009, FIM began the newest outreach, FIM For Men. This mission embraces the man who suffers from the effects of cancer. The main focus remains the woman suffering from breast cancer. This disease took the life of Barbara's sister, Charlotte. The mission of Face in the Mirror is carried out each day in her memory. For more than 20 years, Barbara was an established ASID associate interior designer in the Phoenix-metropolitan area and as far away as Guam. She's listed in "Who's Who International of Interior Design." Barbara owned and operated several retail shops throughout Scottsdale and Phoenix by the corporate name of MacLean Interiors Ltd, dba Periwinkle Cottage, and Jingles.
