Interview #33 Barbara MacLean

National speaker and author of Finding Hope for Your Journey through Breast Cancer, Yvonne Ortega will interview Barbara MacLean. Barbara carries out the promise she made to her sister several years ago. She works full-time as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Face in the Mirror. She focuses on ways to expand the organization's services and provide outreach to cancer patients in medical centers across the country. In 2009, Face in the Mirror began the newest outreach, Face in the Mirror for Men. This mission embraces the man who suffers from the results of cancer. Breast cancer took the life of Barbara's sister, Charlotte, and the mission of Face in the Mirror is carried out in her memory. Barbara's passion is the love of art, music, poetry, God and giving back to her community where she finds inspiration. Her poetry has been featured in several books. One of her poems is the foundation to the signature song, "Face in the Mirror," now licensed and trademarked in Nashville, Tennessee and given as a CD to each cancer patient visited in the hospital.
