"Slave Religion" why the black church is silent on the slaughter of black boys

For years people have been debating religion as a whole and especially in the black community.  Black theology was once a place where black people could learn about the church and their role as a people, no longer bound by the brutality of being a slave and being raped, beaten or killed by their ancestors former masters.  But today's church is more about financing and building newer and bigger cathedrals while deminishing the family structure which God created to be His glory in the first place.
