Ms. Woody was inspired to make people laugh when Cedric The Entertainer used her as a subject in his stand-up act.  She knew then that "when you are laughing you forget your troubles and your pain"

Years later she would find that she would have to find and embrace the laughter as her life would change forever.  Having worked successfully for 15 years as a U.S. Postal Carrier, an incident with her supervisor triggered an attempted suicide and several days in the psychiatric ward.  This began a downward spiral of job loss, homelessness, anxiety and depression, and eventually the death of her children's father.

Ms. Woody has chosen to present her story in a documentary film entitled

"THE DAY I ALMOST WENT POSTAL"   as well as an upcoming same-titled stage play; and a comedic movie production titled "Certified Crazy"
