"Somebody Else's Child" with Ms. Kari Fox Kelley

"Be grateful I adopted you, no one wants a half blind nappy headed child"

Today, a gifted vocalist, life coach, and author of "Black Blind and Female", Kari was placed in foster care immediately following birth.  She was adopted at nine months old, but eventually returned to foster care where she remained until she was four. She was then adopted for the second time.
 
It is her experiences in the second adoptive family which serve as the basis for her one woman show: "Somebody Else's Child".
