Health Liberty: Healthcare Gods Way!

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act informally referred to as Obamacare, (hereafter called the ACA) requires individuals not covered by employer- or government-sponsored insurance plans to maintain minimal essential health insurance coverage or pay a penalty. So what are we to do? Do we go along with it or do fight it, what’s the alternative? There are at least six important biblical factors and two solutions we should take into consideration.

Scripture for this teaching: Paul asks a rhetorical question in 1 Corinthians 6:19, accentuating his point that we ought to care for our physical bodies because they are the “temple of the Holy Spirit”. Caring for the sick is an honorable thing for a society to engage in, and healthy living should be encouraged.
